* Work with opportunity imports / exports that include custom columns (when configured)

The value sign appears next to opportunity '''Value''' and '''Derived''' amounts on Funnel screens and reports.

== Tips and important notes ==

* Plan field names and types before reps start entering opportunity data.
* For dropdown-style fields, always add Options after creating the field.
* Options icon is only active for Select, Multiple Select, Radio, and Auto types.
* Field Name and Field Type are required when adding or editing.
* The value sign cannot be blank; keep it short (max 5 characters).
* Reorder fields so the most important ones appear first on the opportunity form.
* Deleting a field is permanent for that custom field setup—confirm first.
* Only managers manage this list; all users with opportunity access fill in the fields on forms.

* Page blocked / redirected: confirm you are a manager
* No opportunity fields found: click '''Add Field''' to create the first one
* Options icon greyed out: that field type does not use a choice list
