What is Add a new task/follow-up?

Add creates a new task or follow-up for an account from Tasks (or from Accounts / other screens).

How to navigate

TasksAdd or Accounts / Places / appointment flows → Add Task

Using Add a new task/follow-up

  1. Tap Add (or Add Task from an account).
  2. Select/confirm the account if required.
  3. Set Follow Up Date and Time.
  4. Optional quick time frames: Tomorrow, One Week, One Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year.
  5. Set Duration (for example 15 Minutes).
  6. Choose Task Type and Priority.
  7. Choose Scheduled With (person at the company, when available).
  8. Managers can set Assigned To for another rep.
  9. Add Notes.
  10. Set Recurring options when available (or “Does not repeat”).
  11. Check Mark completed only if the work is already done.
  12. Save the task.

Features include

  • Follow Up Date – Day the follow-up is due.
  • Time – Time of day for the follow-up.
  • Quick time frames – Tomorrow through 1 Year shortcuts.
  • Duration – Expected length of the follow-up.
  • Task Type – Call, Visit, Email, or company types.
  • Priority – Priority level for the task.
  • Scheduled With – Person at the account (when listed).
  • Assigned To – Manager assignment to a rep.
  • Notes – Free-text details.
  • Recurring options – Repeat schedule when available.
  • Mark completed checkbox – Create already-done tasks when needed.
  • Entry from other screens – Accounts, Places, Home recommendations, and more.
