== Accounts ==

=== What are Accounts? ===

Accounts are your company contacts in CallProof. They are the businesses and organizations you sell to, visit, call, and track.

From the Accounts screen you can find, view, add, and manage those businesses—search them, filter them, sort them, open them on a map, and take action on each one (call, message, email, appointment, route, and more).

Depending on your security settings, you may see '''all accounts''' or only the accounts '''assigned to you'''. Allow location access when prompted for better sort and map results. CallProof uses this to show distance and nearby accounts; it is not kept as map browsing history.

=== Using Accounts ===

# Open the '''Accounts''' tab.

# Use the '''search bar''' to find accounts by company name or other selected search fields.

# Open '''Filters''' to choose which fields to search, how to sort, account type, custom fields, and '''All Accounts''' vs '''Only My Accounts'''.

# Browse results—each row shows company name, address, distance, last contacted, and related details.

# Use quick actions on a row, or open '''More''' for the full menu.

# Use the '''map''' icon to plot accounts, and the '''add''' button to create a new account.

=== Features include ===

* '''View accounts''' – Browse your list of company contacts. Pull down to refresh. Scroll for more results when available.

* '''All Accounts / Only My Accounts''' – Switch between every account you can access and only accounts assigned to you.

* '''Search''' – Find accounts by company name or other fields (for example type, city, state, ZIP, street, phone, email—based on selected search fields). Use quotation marks for exact phrases when needed. Choose fewer search fields for faster, clearer results.

* '''Filters''' – Search fields, Sort (Closest to Me, Farthest Away, Need to Contact, Recently Contacted, Company A–Z / Z–A), Account type, and Custom fields. Filters can stay saved for your next visit.

* '''Sort by distance''' – Closest to Me / Farthest Away use your device location to order nearby vs farther accounts.

* '''Sort by contact activity''' – Need to Contact shows accounts least recently contacted. Recently Contacted shows the most recent ones.

* '''Add a new account''' – Create an account with company name and account type (required). You can also add address, phone, email, sales rep, custom fields, and more. Options may include business card scan or vCard when enabled.

* '''Edit account''' – Update company info, type, address, phones, sales reps, custom fields, and other details, then save.

== Routes ==

=== What are Routes? ===

Routes help you plan and visit accounts in order for field work. Build a stop list, optimize the path, and reuse saved routes.

Allow location access when prompted. CallProof uses it for map and optimize results so you can visit accounts more efficiently.

=== Using Routes ===

# Open '''Routes''' and use '''Current Route''' for today’s stops, or '''Saved Routes''' to load a saved one (My Routes, All Routes, or Assigned Routes).

# Add accounts from Accounts, Places, or the map (including lasso).

# On the current route you can open the map, optimize the visit order, save the route for later, or clear it.

# Reorder or remove stops as needed, then tap a stop to call, start an appointment, get directions, or open the account.

=== Features include ===

* '''Current Route''' – Your list of stops for today.

* '''Saved Routes''' – Routes you can save and open later (My Routes, All Routes, or Assigned Routes).

* '''Add stops''' – Add accounts to the route from Accounts, Places, Tasks, or the map.

* '''Map''' – See stops on a map.

* '''Optimize''' – Reorder stops for the best visit path (Keep Starting Point, Keep Start and End, or Optimize using Current Location).

* '''Save''' – Save the route with a name for later reuse.

* '''Clear''' – Remove all stops from the current route.

* '''Reorder / Remove stops''' – Change visit order or delete individual stops.

* '''Assign''' – Give a route to another rep.

* '''Stop actions''' – Call, appointment, directions, open account, and more.

== Places ==

=== What is Places? ===

Places is CallProof’s prospecting tool. It finds businesses near your current location or a chosen address using Google Maps data.

Use it to discover new leads, view business details, save them as CallProof accounts, add them to a route, or start an appointment while you’re in the field.

Allow location access for better results. CallProof uses location to show nearby places and map results; it is not stored as map browsing history.

=== Using Places ===

# Open the '''Places''' tab.

# Use '''Search''' or '''Filters''' (category, address/zip, radius, and more).

# Review results in the list, or open '''Map''' to see them on Google Maps.

# Tap a place for options: call, appointment, add to route, add to CallProof, and more.

# On the map, use '''Lasso''' to select several places at once and add them to contacts or a route.

=== Features include ===

* '''Search''' – Find places by name or keyword.

* '''Filters''' – Narrow by category, keyword, city/state/zip/address, radius, max results, and employee size / annual sales when available.

* '''Results list''' – See nearby businesses with name, address, and related info. Pull to refresh.

* '''Map''' – View places on a map with pins for results.

* '''Lasso''' – Draw on the map to select many places at once, then Add to Contacts or Add to Route.

* '''Add to CallProof (Contacts)''' – Save a business as a CallProof account.

* '''Add to Route''' – Put selected places on your route.

* '''Call''' – Call the place when a phone number is available (including Twilio if enabled).

* '''Appointment''' – Start an appointment/check-in at that place.

* '''More options''' – Extra actions such as add to CallProof, event forms, directions, and other options when available.

* '''Saved searches''' – Save filter/search settings and reuse them later on mobile or web.

<div style="clear: both;"></div>

----

== Tasks ==

=== What are Tasks? ===

Tasks (also called Follow-ups) are reminders to contact or follow up with an account. Use them to plan calls, visits, and next steps.

From the '''Tasks and Follow-ups''' screen you can view pending and completed work, filter by type or date, mark items complete, edit details, add tasks to a route, and create new tasks.

Tasks can be linked to an account, given a type and priority, scheduled for a date/time, assigned to a rep, and synced to calendar when calendar sync is set up.

=== Using Tasks ===

# Open the '''Tasks''' tab.

# Switch between '''Not Completed''' and '''Completed'''.

# Open '''Filters''' to narrow by task type, priority, and start/end date.

# Review each task—account name, type, date/time, notes, and status.

# Mark complete, edit, delete, or add the related account to a route.

# Use '''Add''' to create a new task or follow-up for an account.

=== Features include ===

* '''View Pending and Completed''' – See open tasks under Not Completed, and finished ones under Completed.

* '''View task details''' – Each item shows the linked account, follow-up date/time, task type, priority, notes, and completion status.

* '''Filters''' – Narrow by task type, priority, and start/end date. Filters can stay saved for your next visit.

* '''Add a new task / follow-up''' – Create a task for an account with date, time, duration, task type, priority, scheduled with, assign to (managers), notes, and recurring options when available.

* '''Edit a task''' – Change date, time, duration, type, priority, assignee, notes, or completion status, then save.

* '''Mark complete / incomplete''' – Check off a task when done, or mark incomplete again if needed.

* '''Add to Route''' – Add the account linked to a task to your current route.

* '''Delete a task''' – Remove a task you no longer need.

* '''Calendar sync''' – If Google / Microsoft / Apple calendar sync is enabled, tasks and follow-ups can be sent to your calendar.

* '''Recommended Follow-ups''' – On Home (when enabled), CallProof may suggest follow-ups based on recent activity.

What is the Callproof Mobile App?

The Callproof mobile app is a portable version of Callproof used in the field.

The mobile app is a companion piece to Callproof, allowing users in the field to easily add notes, appointments, follow-ups, prospects, and view contact information.

Log Into Callproof

What is Login?

Login is how users sign in to the CallProof mobile app with their account credentials.

When launching the CallProof app, users must sign in before they can use Home, Accounts, Routes, Places, Tasks, and other features.

For convenience, users can enable Remember Login before tapping Login. This securely remembers their login information for future app launches, reducing the need to enter credentials each time.

Callproof Mobile App Login Page

Using Login

  1. Open the CallProof app and go to the Login screen.
  2. Enter your Email Address and Password, or choose Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in.
  3. Optionally turn on Remember Login so credentials are filled next time.
  4. Tap Login.
  5. After a successful login, you are taken to the CallProof Home / Dashboard.

If you've forgotten your password, tap Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address (in the email field), and a reset / OTP message will be sent. Follow the steps to create a new password and regain access.

Note: The Sign Up button is intended only for organizations that are new to CallProof and are registering for the first time. Once a company has been created, individual users are added and managed by the company's CallProof administrator. Existing users should not use the Sign Up option.

Sign in options

  • Email and Password – Sign in with the email and password created for your CallProof account.
  • Google – Sign in with your Google account. The Google email address must match the email address associated with your CallProof account.
  • Apple – Sign in with your Apple ID. The Apple account email must match the email address registered with your CallProof account.
  • Microsoft – Sign in with your Microsoft account. The Microsoft account email must match the email address associated with your CallProof account.

After Login

  • You are taken to Home (Dashboard) to start working.
  • Use bottom tabs for Accounts, Routes, Places, and Tasks.
  • If Remember Login is on, your next app launch can fill credentials automatically.

Sign Up (Create Account)

Callproof Mobile App Signup

What is Sign Up?

Sign Up is used by new organizations to create a CallProof company account for the first time.

Once a company is created, individual users are added and managed by the company’s CallProof administrator. Existing users should not use Sign Up—they should use Log In instead.

The Create Account / Sign Up button may or may not appear depending on company/common settings.

Using Sign Up

  1. Open the CallProof app.
  2. Tap Create New Account (when available).
  3. Choose whether you are creating a new company or are an existing company user (selection screen).
  4. On Create Account, enter your details or use Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-up.
  5. Tap Create Account to submit.
  6. If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, verify OTP when prompted.
  7. After successful sign-up, you are taken into CallProof (Home / Dashboard).

Important: Existing employees should ask their administrator to add them in Company Directory, then log in with the credentials provided—not create a new company.
