Places

What is Places?

Places is CallProof’s prospecting tool. It finds businesses near your current location or a chosen address using Google Maps data.

Use it to discover new leads, view business details, save them as CallProof accounts, add them to a route, or start an appointment while you’re in the field.

Allow location access for better results. CallProof uses location to show nearby places and map results; it is not stored as map browsing history.

How to navigate

Bottom tab barPlaces Opens the Places list (search + filters).

Other entry points:

  • Places → MapLasso for multi-select
  • From map tools while prospecting nearby businesses

Using Places

  1. Open the Places tab.
  2. Use Search or Filters (category, address/zip, radius, and more).
  3. Review results in the Results List, or open the Map to see them on Google Maps.
  4. Tap a place for options: call, appointment, add to route, add to CallProof, and more.
  5. On the map, use Lasso to select several places at once and add them to contacts or a route.
  6. Pull to refresh or load more pages when available.
  7. Optionally reuse Saved Searches for filters you use often.
