``` CallProof offers reporting features for managers to see a reps calls to CallProof clients. In order for these calls to be correctly counted, there are some important things to be aware of and remember.
What Calls Are Tracked By CallProof?
When a rep makes a call, CallProof will check the number against all CallProof contacts within their company. If matches are found, the call is marked as a Client Call within CallProof.
In order for rep calls to be counted properly, there are some differences between iOS and Android mobile apps. Below explains the differences.
Making Calls Count Using iPhones
iOS users (iPhones, iPads, etc) must make calls from within CallProof. To do this, simply search for the contact you wish to call from within CallProof. Click on the contact and select Call from the contact's menu. When calling this way, all calls are properly recorded for reporting purposes.
Calls made from the native Phone app on iOS are not tracked by CallProof.
Making Calls Count Using Android
Android behavior depends on which CallProof app is installed.
CallProof from Google Play (standard app): Android users should make calls from within CallProof. Search for the contact, open the contact, and select Call. Calls made this way are properly recorded for reporting purposes. Calls made only from the phone dialer are not collected by this version of the app.
CallProof Call Log version: Android users can make calls from within the app or from their normal dial screen. With this version, CallProof collects the phone call log and matches it against CallProof customers. Unknown numbers are thrown out and any correspondence with CallProof customers is recorded for reporting purposes.
With the Call Log version, call history can sync automatically during the day based on sync settings, after calls made from the app, or manually from More by selecting Sync Calls. Logging out will also upload any remaining unsynced calls.
Best Practice: Keep Call Log permission enabled and stay signed in during the workday so calls can sync. If recent client calls are missing from reports, use Sync Calls. Logging out and logging back in is no longer required just to sync calls, but logging out will still flush any leftover unsynced call history. ```
