Search Find businesses/places near an address or your map center by keyword and category. Prospecting a new zip code or industry.
Add Contact Turn a map place into a CallProof account you can call, visit, and track. New lead you want in CRM.
Radius Select everything inside a circle (5 / 10 / 20 miles options in the radius tool). “All leads within X miles of this spot.”
Lasso Select places inside a freehand shape. Irregular territories or along a corridor.
Create Route / Add to Database Save selected places into CallProof and/or build a visit route. After selecting a set of good leads.
Save this search Reuse the same query/category/location later. Weekly prospecting in the same area.
Load previous search Jump back to a saved search without retyping filters. Repeat last week’s lead hunt.

  3. Click pins → Add Contact for the best leads.
  4. Optional: use Radius or Lasso to grab a whole pocket of places.
  5. Add to Database for the selection and/or Create Route for today’s visits.
  6. Save this search if you will prospect here again.
  7. Finish account details on Update Account; run the route from Routes

Tips and important notes

  • Best results: set a clear Address (or map center) before searching.
  • Prefer Category + keyword over a blank search.
  • Always check Contact Already Exist before adding to avoid duplicates.
  • Radius and Lasso are for selection; you still Add Contact / Add to Database / Create Route afterward.
  • Saved search names need at least 2 characters.
  • Create Route from the map feeds the same Routes module you already documented.
  • If the map is blank after Search, confirm address geocode worked and zoom to the pins.
  • Calendar icon on this screen may be disabled — use Search, Account, Route, Radius, and Lasso for day-to-day lead finding.

Need help?

  • No places found: change keyword/category, widen area/address, try again
  • Cannot add contact: place may be invalid or already linked — use Contact Already Exist
  • Lasso/Radius empty: draw over pins that are already loaded from Search
  • Saved search missing: open Places Saved Searches; only owners see View/Delete
  • Route not created: enter Route Name; managers must pick assignees when required
