CallProof Academy

Screen purpose: Browse and watch CallProof training videos by category — including global CallProof tutorials and your company’s own videos.

CallProof Academy categories

• See video categories with video counts
• Open a category to view its videos
• Watch a video in a popup player
• Managers can add company-specific training videos

How to open CallProof Academy

Option A — Main menu

1. Sign in to CallProof.
2. Open the sidebar / account menu.
3. Click CallProof Academy (opens /show_tutorial_videos/).

Option B — Direct address

1. Go to your CallProof site and add /show_tutorial_videos/.
2. Press Enter.

Permissions

• You should be signed in.
• All users can browse categories and watch videos available to their company.
• Managers see Add New Video and can create / edit / delete company-specific tutorials.
• Global CallProof categories are shared; company videos only show for your company.

What you see on the Academy home

Header

• Welcome to CallProof Academy
• Add New Video (managers only) — goes to the manage screen at /tutorial_videos/

Category cards

Each card shows:

Item	Meaning
Folder / thumbnail	Category tile
Category name	Group of related videos
(count)	How many videos are in that category

Click a card to open that category’s video list.

Why CallProof Academy matters

Open a category and watch a video

Category video list

Steps — open a category

1. Open CallProof Academy.
2. Click a category card.
3. The category page opens with breadcrumb:

 Welcome to CallProof Academy » [Category name]

1. Thumbnails of YouTube videos appear in a grid.

Steps — watch a video

1. Click a video thumbnail (or the play icon).
2. A popup opens titled Welcome to CallProof Academy / Tutorial Videos.
3. The video plays in an embedded YouTube player.
4. Read the description under the player when one is provided.
5. Close the popup when finished (playback stops when closed).

Good to know

• If the embed cannot load, use Watch on YouTube in the fallback message.
• Click the breadcrumb Welcome to CallProof Academy to return to the category hub.
• Videos must have a valid link to appear.

Manager: Add a company tutorial video

Add New Tutorial

Manage screen title: Welcome to CallProof Academy » Add and Update Tutorials Address: /tutorial_videos/

Steps

1. From CallProof Academy, click Add New Video (managers).
2. Or open /tutorial_videos/ directly.
3. Click Add New Video again on the manage screen (opens the Add New Tutorial popup).
4. Enter:

• • Video Title (required)
  • Video Description (required; keep under 1024 characters when editing)
  • Video Link (required — must be a valid YouTube link)

1. Click Save.
2. Success message: tutorial video added successfully.
3. The video is stored under your company’s company-specific category so your team can find it in Academy.

Good to know

• Only YouTube links are accepted. Invalid links show an error.
• New company videos are tied to your company, not every CallProof customer.
• Use Load More on the manage screen when more than the first batch of videos is available.

Manager: Edit or delete a company video

Edit / delete tutorials

Edit

1. Open /tutorial_videos/.
2. On a video card, click the Edit (pencil) button.
3. Update Title, Description, and/or YouTube Link.
4. Click Update.
5. Success message: tutorial updated successfully.

Delete

1. Click the Delete (trash) button on a video card.
2. Confirm in the delete popup.
3. Success message confirms removal.
4. The list refreshes.

Reorder (when available)

1. On the manage screen, use the drag handle on a card.
2. Drop it in the new position to save a new order.

Typical workflow

1. Open /show_tutorial_videos/.
2. Pick a category card.
3. Click a thumbnail and watch the lesson.
4. Close the popup and try the feature in CallProof.
5. Managers: add internal process videos under Add New Video so the team sees them in Academy.

Tips and important notes

• Page header says Welcome to CallProof Academy; browser tab may say Show Tutorial Videos — same area.
• Academy videos are different from Help Scout docs or external marketing FAQ pages.
• Company-specific videos appear only for users in your company.
• Global categories are shared CallProof content (not limited to one company).
• Closing the watch popup clears the player so audio/video does not keep playing in the background.
• Prefer clear titles (for example “How to Create an Event Form”) so reps can find videos fast.

Need help?

• No categories shown: there may be no published videos with links yet — ask a manager or support
• Video will not play: try Watch on YouTube, or check that the link is a valid YouTube URL
• Cannot add a video: confirm you are a manager and the link is YouTube
• Added a video but teammates cannot see it: confirm they open CallProof Academy and the company-specific category
• Other issues: email support@callproof.com
