What are Places Filters?
Places Filters narrow Google Places results by category, location, distance, size, and how many results to show.
Places → Filters
Using Places Filters
- Open Places.
- Tap Filters.
- Set options such as:
- Category — business type (for example restaurants, offices)
- Keyword — extra search text
- City / State / Zip / Address — where to search
- Radius — how far to search (miles)
- Max results — how many places to show
- Employee size / Annual sales — size filters when available
- Apply filters to refresh the list.
- Clear one filter or clear all to reset.
Features include
- Category – Primary location / Google place categories (single or multi-select depending on settings).
- Keyword – Additional text filter.
- Address / City / State / Zip – Search around a chosen location.
- Radius – Distance in miles from the search point.
- Max results – Cap how many places load.
- Employee size – Min/max employee filters when available.
- Annual sales – Revenue filters when available.
- Apply / Clear – Refresh results or reset filters.
- Saved with Saved Searches – Filter sets can be reused later.
