What is Video message?

Video message opens async video messaging with a teammate from Member Detail. You can record and send video messages in a shared video room.

How to navigate

Member Detail → Video button (right side of profile card)

Using Video message

1. Open Member Detail for another teammate.
2. Tap the Video button.
3. If video messaging is enabled, CallProof opens the video room.
4. If no room exists, CallProof creates one first.
5. Allow camera access when prompted.
6. Record and send your video message.
7. A red badge shows unread video count when messages are waiting.
8. If video is not enabled, CallProof shows an upgrade/beta prompt.

Features include

• Video button – Video camera icon on the profile card.
• Unread count badge – Red badge when unread videos exist.
• Create video room – Auto-creates room if none exists.
• Camera permission – Prompts for camera access before recording.
• Upgrade prompt – “CallProof Upgrade” alert if video is not enabled.
• Join Beta – Option to request video messaging access.
• Hidden on own profile – Video button is hidden when viewing yourself.
