Events

Screen title: Events Browser title: Events Address: /dash/events/

Use this screen to review a live activity feed of events logged in CallProof (calls, emails, check-ins, event forms, and other activity types). This page is for viewing and filtering events — not for creating events by hand. Events are created when reps work in the field, on accounts, or on the phone.

Events

Navigation: Report Icon HoverEvents

From this screen you can:

  • Browse recent and filtered events
  • Filter by event type and how many results to load
  • Filter by user and market (managers / market managers)
  • Open a rep, account, people, or event form from a row (when you have access)
  • Export an Events Report CSV (if export is allowed)

How to open Events

Option A — From the Dashboard

  1. Sign in to CallProof.
  2. Open the Dashboard.
  3. Click Events (or an events count / recent activity link that goes to Events).
  4. The Events feed opens.

Option B — From the main menu

  1. Sign in to CallProof.
  2. In the left sidebar, open Events (label may vary by company setup).

Option C — Open Events directly

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Go to your CallProof website and add /dash/events/ at the end of the address (for example: https://appv2.callproof.com/dash/events/).
  3. Press Enter.
  4. The Events page appears.

Option D — Filter to one rep from a link

  1. Some screens link to Events for one user (for example /dash/events/?u=123).
  2. The feed opens with that user pre-selected when the link includes a user id.

Permissions

  • You must be signed in.
  • You see events for users you are allowed to view (based on role, markets, and settings).
  • If your profile has Just My Events, you mainly see your own events, and User / Markets filters are hidden.
  • Managers and market managers can filter by User and Markets (unless Just My Events is on).
  • Links to accounts or event forms may be text-only if you do not have access to that contact.
  • Export Events Report requires export permission on your profile. Without it, export is denied and you stay on Events.
  • Company menu permissions control whether this screen appears in your sidebar.

What you see on the screen

Header

  • Title: Events
  • Filter button

Events list

Each row typically shows:

  • Rep photo / initials (links to the user profile when available)
  • Rep name (click to focus Events on that user)
  • Event description (what happened — from the event type)
  • Related items when present, for example:
    • Event form name (may link to the account’s event forms)
    • Contact / account name (or People when People is enabled)
    • Company name
    • Another rep, place, or Google place
  • When it happened (relative time, for example “2 hours ago”)
  • Duration when the event has a length
  • Points earned when points apply (for example +5)
  • Call-related extras (for example recording / summary) when available for phone events

Signup style events may show a simple message instead of the full activity line.

Empty state

  • If nothing matches: No events found

Export

  • When results load, Export Events Report can appear with pagination (if your account allows export).
  • Export downloads a CSV of the current filtered events.

Field guide (Events Filter)

Event Type

  • Choose one event type, or leave blank / clear to see more types.
  • Types come from your company’s event type list (calls, emails, forms, and other activities).

  • How many events to load for the search.
  • Options: 50, 100, 1000, 5000, 10000
  • Default is often 50.
  • Larger numbers take longer to load.

Why this screen matters

Action Purpose When to use it
View Events See what the team (or you) logged recently — calls, visits, forms, and other activity. Daily check-in, coaching, or verifying field work.
Filter Narrow the feed by type, people, markets, or result size. Focus on one activity type, one rep, or one market.
Open links in a row Jump to the rep, account, people, or event form related to the activity. Follow up on a specific event.
Export Events Report Download filtered events as CSV for reporting or sharing outside CallProof. Manager reporting, audits, or offline analysis (requires export permission).

Note: There is no Add / Edit / Delete event button on this page. Events are created by normal CallProof activity elsewhere (mobile app, calls, accounts, event forms, and so on).

Export Events

Purpose: Download the filtered events list as a CSV file.

Address: /dash/events/export/

Steps

  1. Apply the filters you want first (so the export matches what you see).
  2. Confirm the list has events (export appears when results load).
  3. Click Export Events Report.
  4. If you have export permission, a CSV file (for example events.csv) downloads.
  5. If you do not have permission, CallProof shows a permission message and returns you to Events.

Typical CSV columns

  • Representative
  • Description
  • Contact or People (depends on company People setting)
  • Contact Company
  • Other Representative
  • Start
  • Length
  • Point
  • Event Form

Some companies may see extra call-related columns.

Related screens

  • Dashboard — event counts and recent activity often link here
  • Accounts / Contacts — open an account from an event row
  • Event Forms — setup and entries for forms that appear in the feed
  • Activity Points / Points — points shown on some event rows

Tips and important notes

  • This is an activity feed, not an event calendar editor.
  • Use Max Results carefully — large values (5,000 / 10,000) can be slow.
  • Just My Events users will not see User / Markets filters.
  • Account and form names may appear without links if you are not allowed to open that contact.
  • Relative times (“2 hours ago”) use your timezone settings.
  • Points on a row come from Activity Points rules for that event type.
  • Export uses your current filters; set filters before exporting.
  • Filter choices can stay in your session until you change or clear them.

Need help?

  • No events found: clear filters, raise Max Results, or confirm activity was logged
  • Missing User / Markets filters: you may have Just My Events, or you are not a manager / market manager
  • Cannot open an account from a row: you may lack access to that contact — ask a manager
  • Export denied: ask a manager to enable export on your profile
  • Feed looks incomplete: try a higher Max Results or a wider user/market filter
  • Other issues: email support@callproof.com
