Ranking

CallProof Ranking has two related screens:

  • Current Rankings — live standings (rank, points, trend)
  • Ranking Groups — create and configure who competes and how dates work
Current Ranking

Use Quick Links on either screen to switch between them.

How Ranking works (simple flow)

  1. On Ranking Groups, Add Group and name it.
  2. Edit the group: Date Mode, First Day (if Static), and Sales Reps.
  3. Open Current Rankings to see Rank, Points, and Trend.
  4. Optional: open Graph for points over time.
  5. Use Filter on Current Rankings to pick a group and Interval (day / week / month).

Permissions

  • You must be signed in.
  • Managers typically see all company groups and can edit/delete from Current Rankings.
  • Sales reps often see only groups they belong to; group names may not be editable links for non-managers.
  • Company menu permissions control whether Ranking appears in your sidebar.

  • Current Ranking → /rank/
  • Ranking Groups → /rank/groups/

Part 1 — Current Rankings

Address: /rank/

See how sales reps rank inside each Ranking Group for the selected Interval.

Current Rankings

From this screen you can:

  • View Rank Group Name, Rank, Sales Rep, Points, and Trend
  • Filter by Ranking Group and Interval
  • Expand long lists with Show More / Show Less
  • Edit a ranking group (managers)
  • Open the points graph
  • Delete a ranking group

How to open Current Rankings

Option A — From the main menu

  1. Sign in to CallProof.
  2. In the left sidebar, open Ranking / Current Ranking (label may vary).

Option B — Direct address

  1. Go to your CallProof site and add /rank/ (for example: https://appv2.callproof.com/rank/).
  2. Press Enter.

Option C — From Ranking Groups

  1. Open Ranking Groups.
  2. Under Quick Links, choose Current Ranking.

What you see (Current Rankings)

Header

  • Title: Current Rankings
  • Quick Links
  • Filter

Table

Column What it shows
Rank Group Name Group name (managers can click to edit)
Rank Place (for example #1). “No ranking data found” if none yet
Sales Rep Rep for that rank row
Points Points for the selected interval (0 if none)
Trend Up / down vs previous period, or no trend
Actions Edit, Delete, Graph
  • More than 5 reps in a group → use Show More / Show Less.
  • Empty list: No current rankings found

Filter (Current Rankings)

Ranking Filter

Ranking Group Blank = all groups you can see; or pick one
Interval Typically day, week, or month (often defaults to day)
  1. Click Filter.
  2. Choose Ranking Group and/or Interval.
  3. Apply.
  4. Clear to reset.

View Current Rankings

Current Rankings list
  1. Open /rank/.
  2. Optionally filter by group and Interval.
  3. Review Rank, Sales Rep, Points, and Trend.
  4. Use Show More when needed.
  5. Use pagination if there are many groups.

Edit a group from Current Rankings

Edit Ranking Group
  1. Click the group name (managers) or the Edit icon.
  2. Update Name, Date Mode, First Day (when shown), and Sales Reps.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a Ranking Group (from Current Rankings)

Delete
  1. Click the Delete (trash) icon.
  2. Confirm.
  3. The group is removed from Current Rankings and Ranking Groups.

Part 2 — Ranking Groups

Address: /rank/groups/

Create and configure ranking groups: who competes, Date Mode (Rolling / Static), and week start day when Static is used.

From this screen you can:

  • View all company ranking groups
  • Add a group
  • Edit a group
  • Delete a group
  • Open Current Ranking via Quick Links

How to open Ranking Groups

Option A — From the main menu

  1. Sign in to CallProof.
  2. Open Ranking / Ranking Groups (label may vary).

Field guide (Add / Edit Group)

Field Notes
Name Required. Up to 64 characters. Letters, numbers, spaces, hyphen, underscore kept.
Date Mode — Rolling Rolling time window. First Day of the Week is hidden.
Date Mode — Static Calendar-style windows. First Day of the Week appears.
First Day of the Week Sunday or Monday (shown when Static). Hint: “Week start day”.
Sales Rep Multi-select. Select All / Clear. Only selected reps appear in Current Rankings for this group.

Why Add, Edit, and Delete matter

Action Purpose When to use it
Add Group Create a new contest shell, then finish in Edit. New team, region, or challenge.
Edit Group Set Date Mode, week start, and which reps compete. After Add; hiring/leaving; change week start.
Delete Group Permanently remove the group and its ranking setup. Contest ended — confirm first.
Filter (Current Rankings) Focus on one group and day/week/month. Daily huddle, weekly meeting, monthly review.
Graph See points over time. Spot trends beyond one snapshot.

View Ranking Groups

Ranking Groups list
  1. Open /rank/groups/.
  2. Review Name, Date Mode, First Day, and Sales Reps.
  3. Use pagination if needed.
  4. Open Current Ranking from Quick Links for standings.

Add a Ranking Group

Add Group

Address (create): /rank/groups/new/

  1. Click Add Group.
  2. Enter Name (required).
  3. Click Save.
  4. The Edit popup opens so you can finish setup.
  5. Set Date Mode, First Day (if Static), and Sales Reps.
  6. Click Save on Edit.
  7. The group appears here and on Current Rankings.

Edit a Ranking Group

Address: /rank/groups/edit/<id>/

  1. Click the group Name or the Edit icon.
  2. Update Name, Date Mode, First Day (if shown), and Sales Reps.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Standings update based on the new membership and settings.

Delete a Ranking Group

Address: /rank/groups/delete/<id>/

  1. Click the Delete (trash) icon.
  2. Confirm.
  3. The group is removed from Ranking Groups and Current Rankings.

Tips and important notes

  • Typical path: Ranking Groups (Add → Edit) → Current Rankings (Filter) → Graph (optional).
  • Rankings use points from CallProof activity for people in each group.
  • “No ranking data found” often means no members yet, or points not ready for that interval — add reps, then check again.
  • Interval (day / week / month) changes Rank, Points, and Trend on Current Rankings.
  • Trend compares to the previous day, week, or month (matching Interval).
  • Removing a rep in Edit removes them from that group’s rankings.
  • Prefer Edit (membership) over Delete if you only need to change who competes.
  • Deleting a group cannot be undone.

Need help?

  • No ranking groups found: Add Group on Ranking Groups
  • Current Rankings empty: create a group, add Sales Reps, then filter by Interval
  • Wrong people in a contest: Edit the group’s Sales Rep list
  • Wrong week boundaries: Date Mode Static + First Day Sunday or Monday
  • Looking for standings vs setup: Current Rankings = standings; Ranking Groups = setup
